Uncovering the beauty of Talikud Island

Crystal clear water.. perfect view away from the city.. white sand.. cool breeze

This is Talikud Island located in the southwestern tip of Samal in Davao. The boat transport to Talikud lasts about 30-40 minutes. You get spectacular views of Davao City and Mt. Apo. The beaches in Talikud are nearly empty and very relaxing.

But before you get your feet to the island, you need to charter first a boat especially if you're in a large group which I consider the price not that costly considering the enchantment you feel when you get there.
You can lay your eyes to a lot of amazing views in the deep blue ocean during the trip.
Welcome to Talikud Island!
The water is clearer than a private swimming pool.
Talikud island is also a resting place for a lot of tired scuba divers visiting the place.
The island is a good place to stay with your family.

Whenever you get a chance to visit Davao City, give a time to visit Talikud Island. Experience a paradise like no other!

DAVAO CITY: mindanao's mini MANILA

We arrived around 4:00am in Davao City bringing with us the excitement of embracing new developments in some celebrated malls in the city. We first visited Abreeza Mall which is Davao's ayala mall. The mall's entrance showcased sweet breeze of nature with a blindsiding fountain beside a garden which is very calming to the eyes. I am also pleased to see green  reflections in the mall's facade. The place really is amazing where people in Davao is given a chance to experience shopping International brands brought by Ayala Malls through the  SSI(Stores Specialist Inc.) group.

Below is a photo of me with my father and li'l bro sitting in a very "pinoy" bench located
at the 2nd level of the mall.

I visited Fullybooked davao branch which I consider as every Bookworm's tourist spot.
I am a Book addict myself so I really bought a book as a souvenir.

We also visited KK(Krispy Kreme) branch in the city which is a bit small compared to Manila. We ordered of course the store's Best-selling original glaze doughnut! We paired this melt-in-your-mouth treat with their delightful chillers. My sis chose "Chocolate Chocolate" which I considered too sweet so I picked myself "Chocolate Oreo w/ Cookies"with espresso of course for that bitter-sweet sensation. The place is inviting and the crews are very accommodating where they even suggest their best product.

We visited Abreeza Mall twice where we invaded Blackbeard's Seafood island on the second day
The restaurant is known for their freshly cooked seafood and their different varieties of Boodle feasts.

After Abreeza is SM Lanang Premier which I rate as the biggest mall in Mindanao yet. The mall is home of the first BOWLING center, SMX convention center and IMAX theatre in Mindanao.

We bought clothes in Forever21 which is my sister's favorite part in the mall. What I love
inside F21 is their glittery tiles. haha!

After a tiring walk inside the mall, we tried "The world's yumiiest drinks" brought by Chris Tiu and friends in the Philippines--> HAPPY LEMON! We ordered Cocoa with Rock Salt and Cheese which is one of their bestsellers. The taste of the cocoa was good but the rock salt and cheese on top was the BEST! :)

With all the cool malls and stuff in Davao, i could say it's the Manila in Mindanao! :)

J.CO finally arrived in CDO!

J.Co finally reached my tastebuds! This Indonesian donut chain brought Cagayan de Oro
an extreme sugar rush last May 10, 2013. They chose Centrio Ayala Mall to be their first
branch in VisMin after a successful opening in Manila. We started lining up at 10AM and got
out of the store at 11AM. This is all because of the excited Kagay-anons ready to taste this trending
Indonesian donut. It's worth your wait 'coz their donuts taste really amazing.
Alcapone is my favorite so far considering the reason that I was impressed by the
not-so-sweet blend of Californian Almond and Belgian White Chocolate.
I was not able to taste their coffee and yogurt. Well, I'm hoping to get one really soon.
That's my little brother in most of the photos in the collage and he loves DONUTS!
I hope they'll put up more branches here in CDO! Kagay-anons are certified donut lovers!

try to check their facebook acount: https://www.facebook.com/J.COPhils?ref=ts&fref=ts
or their twitter: https://twitter.com/JCOPhilippines1 for a SWEETER review! :)

my bro and my sis ready to pamper their tastebuds for this sweet treat!
